Charge Controllers
The CentennialSolar charge controller is used between solar panels and batteries to regulate and optimized charging of batteries. It prevents overcharging of batteries to ensure long and trouble free service.
Charge controllers are available in 10A and 3A varieties and can be ordered with a special float voltage to charge small batteries. The exceptionally small size of this unit makes it extremely portable and able to fit almost anywhere.
Features:
- Special-order unit can charge lower voltage rechargeable battery
For example, a 7.2V Li-ion battery from a 12V nominal solar panel with minimum loss of energy - Regulates output at float level even without battery connected (or bad batteries)
- Able to charge 12V battery from 24V solar panel
- Overcharge protection
